CO-PARENTING SHOULD BE FUN
The role of a Co-Parenting single dad is tough to handle, yet the feeling when you see a smile on your child’s face makes it all worth it. “I long to spend as much time as possible with my son. Her presence is the best stress buster and removes every pinch of sadness in me,”
I don’t think anyone enters into the journey of life thinking that when they want to grow up, they want to be a single parent. Time, temperament, and elements outside of our control make us single parents. Parenthood can be tremendously difficult as it is. Combine that with changing schedules, changing roles and so many cups of coffee you feel like your body shakes as it exits the door, and every day becomes a challenge and an adventure at the same time.
Being a single dad is very difficult, but it develops a person holistically and makes him a better human being. It makes him accept his limitations and teaches him the art of unconditional love.
Apparently, I am helping to shape and guide a real-life mini human being person thingy…
Well I won’t back down
No I won’t back down
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won’t back down
No I’ll stand my ground
Won’t be turned around
And I’ll keep this world from draggin’ me down
Gonna stand my ground.
THIS JOURNEY WE SET OUT IN THIS LIFE TOGETHER WOULD BE FUN SURELY!
